These terms govern your use of vaigaioilmills.in and any purchase you make from Vaigai Oil Mills (“we”, “us”), Govindhan Street, Mary Ann School Opp., K.Pudur, Madurai – 625007. By placing an order you agree to them.
1. Products
We sell cold pressed (chekku) edible and non-edible oils. Product images are for illustration; natural products vary slightly in colour and aroma between batches. Castor oil and illuppai oil are sold for external and lamp use. Pack sizes: 200 ml, 500 ml, 1 L, 5 L and 15 kg tin (groundnut oil from 500 ml).
2. Prices and payment
All prices are in Indian Rupees. Product prices shown on the website do not include GST. Prices may change without notice, but the total shown at checkout is the amount you pay. At checkout we add, each shown as a separate line before you pay:
- a service fee of 2% of the order value (products plus shipping);
- GST at 5% on the products, shipping and service fee – as CGST + SGST for delivery within Tamil Nadu, or IGST for delivery to other states.
A GST tax invoice is emailed to you when your order is confirmed and is also available under My Account → Orders. Payment is collected through Razorpay (UPI, cards, net banking, wallets). Cash on delivery is available only for bulk and business orders, which are confirmed by phone or WhatsApp before we place them. An order is confirmed only when payment is received (or a bulk COD order is confirmed with you by phone) and you receive a confirmation email.
3. Order acceptance
We may refuse or cancel an order if a product is out of stock, a pricing error occurred, the delivery address cannot be served, or we suspect fraud. Any payment received for a cancelled order is refunded in full.
4. Shipping
See our Shipping Policy. Delivery times are estimates. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.

6. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate contact and delivery information. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the website, attempt to gain unauthorised access, scrape content, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
8. Intellectual property
All content on this site – text, photographs, logo and design – belongs to Vaigai Oil Mills or its licensors and may not be reproduced without written permission.
9. Health information
Articles and product descriptions share traditional knowledge and general information. They are not medical advice. Consult a qualified doctor for any health condition, especially before using oils internally in pregnancy, for infants, or if you have allergies (groundnut and sesame are allergens).
10. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Madurai, Tamil Nadu have exclusive jurisdiction.
12. Grievance officer
